Poha recipe( atukula upma)




Ingredients:-

  • Poha (flattered rice)-250 grams
  • Onions-1 big sized
  • green chilly-4 pieces
  • Cashew nuts -50 grams
  • Lime juice 3 table spoons

Seasoning:-

  • Urad dal-1 table spoon
  • Channa dal-1 table spoon
  • mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
  • cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
  • curry leaves-1 small bunch

Method/Preparation:-

  • Take 250 grams of poha and soak it for 10 minutes
  • Take one frying pan add 2 table spoons of oil and add all seasoning items and cashew nuts above said
  • Now add medium chopped onions,green chilies and fry well
  • Now add soaked poha into above frying pan and cook for 5 more minutes
  • Now turn off stove and add lime juice to it
  • Serve hot in serving plate
