Healthy and tasty recipe snake gourd curry (potlakaya curry)

Ingredients:-

  • Grated coconut-100 grams
  • Snake gourd-300 grams
  • Green chilies-100 grams
  • Salt-to taste
  • Oil-3 spoons
  • Grated coconut-1 cup
  • Turmeric

Seasoning

  • Channa dal-1 table spoon
  • Urad dal -1 table spoon
  • Mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
  • Red chilli-4 pieces
  • Cumin seeds-1 1 table spoon
  • Curry leaves-1 small bunch

Method/Preparation

  • Take oil into frying pan and heat it well
  • Add seasoning items to it and fry it,later add green chilies and snake gourd(chopped potlakay curry)
  • Add salt and turmeric to it,then cover it with lid and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Now open lid and add grated coconut to curry and cook fro 5 more minutes
  • Now take into a bowl and serve with roti or rice
