Rich energy recipe:potato curry


Ingredients:

  • Potatoes-250 grams
  • Green chily-100 grams
  • Oil-2 table spoons
  • salt-to taste

Seasoning:-

  • Channa dal-1 table spoon
  • Urad dal-1 table spoon 
  • Turmeric-1 pinch
  • Curry leaves-1 small bunch
  • Red chilly-4 pieces
  • Mustard seeds-1 table spoon
  • Cumin seeds-1 table spoon

Method/Preparation:-

  • Take potato wash it well and boil it in pressure cooker or separately in water also
  • Now take tamarind and soak it in water for 15 minutes
  • Take a frying pan add oil ,then heat it after heating add seasoning items,
  • Now peel off potato skin and chop them into small pieces,and mash them
  • Add potatoes into seasoning pan and also add tamarind juice (soaked and extracted from pulp)
  • Cook for 10 more minutes,and add saltto it now turn off stove
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot chapati or rice
